The Organic Gardener Ltd. creates edible garden programs at a wide variety of business locations – corporate campuses, shopping malls, country clubs, LEED-Certified apartment complexes… As the seed-to-table movement grows within Chicagoland and throughout the nation, so, too, grows the breadth of the range of spaces that lend themselves well to a garden program.
The benefits of an on-site edible garden are many. Integrating the garden into your organization’s culture promotes a connection to health, wellness, and environmental sustainability. The garden provides a bountiful harvest of nutritious organic food. We often partner with chefs and corporate dining services to customize crop selections, including many unique, flavorful heirloom varieties.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration. Each of our gardens is custom designed to be both attractive and productive, and to fit the style and needs of your space. Our garden educators enjoy working closely with your team to create an interactive garden program that engages beyond the harvest.
